This 11-minute collage film showcases a variety of footage and a non-vococentric soundtrack, blending different media forms such as 2D animation, digitized found footage, and live-action clips. Skilful use of traditional montage techniques and visual effects melds these elements irrationally. The film’s narrative takes inspiration from the “stream of consciousness” concept.

Drawing from Zhang’s personal trauma, specifically a harrowing experience, the film delves into the aftermath of this event, which plunged Zhang into a profound period of distress. The film portrays a suffocating moment where the body, brain damage, and queerness are entwined. In this alternate reality, peculiar characters symbolize Zhang’s intricate emotions, exemplifying fear, guilt, and hope.
